Under the administration of the Ministry of petroleum and natural gas, ONGC is the country’s largest oil and gas exploration and production company. With its headquarters in Dehradun and founded in 1956, the company is a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India. ONGC bagged the 22nd position among the Top 250 Global Energy Companies carried out by Platts, a provider of energy and metals information.
