Bangalore: Ramco Systems have announced its Ramco OnDemand ERP Partner Program (ROPP) for Karnataka which aims at improving skill-sets of partners by providing extensive training opportunities, the program is two-tiered with solution sales and implementation. With this initiative Ramco forays into the Karnataka industrial sector to identify potential partners for the SMB segment. A business where partners form the key contributor in presales, sales, implementation and support services, Ramco steps up to authorize partners as Ramco Sales Partner - focused on sales and Ramco Value Partner - focused on implementation and support. Studies reveal that SMBs outsourcing their IT infrastructure are utilizing the technology resources which bring in additional top-line revenues using cutting-edge technologies and approaches such as Software as a Service (SaaS). Analysts are of the opinion that the increase in use of hosted infrastructure models is enabling smaller companies to compete on an equal IT traction with bigger enterprises. SMBs are choosing a hosted infrastructure model as it provides organizations with software solutions that can be implemented quickly, while avoiding the incremental infrastructure costs and eliminating the recurring administrative resources as in traditional on-premise applications. The Ramco OnDemand Partner Program (ROPP) is designed to offer a mutually beneficial relationship for Partner organization, the Valued Customer and Ramco Systems. Today, through Ramco's network of 30 highly qualified partners, the company wishes to extend its market reach and provide excellent customer experience which translates to superior technology made available through a rapid and cost-effective Business delivery model (SaaS). With ROPP, Ramco aims to penetrate the market faster and rope in cluster focused partners to address the vast SMB space. Company is targeting at additions of 25-30 more partnerships by the end of this fiscal. Currently Ramco's active partner base is reaching out to metros and Tier I and Tier II cities, with an advent of national level large IT partners, such as NIIT Technologies the organization has got an edge into the large enterprise sectors as well. As a partner to Ramco System, Ravi Shankar G, Director, E People HR Services, Banglore says, "The ROPP comes as a great invitation to business of all sizes to employ smart models to maximize technology resources, which automatically will bring in additional top-line revenues while improving bottom-line results. We definitely look forward for long term relationship with Ramco, since quality of service comes as a free assurance from them." According to R. Sukumar, Head Sales - OnDemand Solutions, Ramco Systems "It is still a nascent stage for partnership business models in the SaaS ecosystem. Because many traditional IT challenges are removed with SaaS, new solution providers is emerging with focus on business rather than technology. Those partners who can develop discrete expertise in niche areas will be well positioned to take advantage of the vast SaaS opportunity. Partners have significant choices to make if they want to get into the hosted-ERP segment. With its recurring-revenue model and relatively low maintenance costs, hosted ERP provides a profitable venture for channel players who want to get on board before their competitors do."
