Now, Indians can tweet their postal grievances

New Delhi: As a part of being more people friendly, Indian post administration has created account of India Post on Twitter three months before. The account is being used for posting updates about a range of news regarding the postal services. Definitely, Indian Postal service with its 1555,333 post offices through out the nook and corner of the country is the world's largest postal services system. No other service in the country reaches the far flung rural areas. Now, with a twitter account India post is set to reach more people across the country. Currently, it has nearly 1200 followers and is set to use its twitter account to receive complaints and suggestion from the followers. In rural India postal service is still in lime light. Even in this era fast growing technology, which makes communication much easier, many people are depending on India post to be in touch with their loved-ones. This new attempt on twitter will give a chance for the postal department to be more active among the people, who are using internet as the best means of connectivity. The twitter account, within a short span has managed to handle many customer grievances. This first attempt from a government department will be an eye opener for other departments to be more democratic.
