Nokia headset contains CSR silicon

BANGALORE: Cambridge Silicon Radio (CSR) plc, leading manufacturer of single-chip Blue tooth wireless devices, today announced that the latest Nokia’s handset BH-800, contained CSR’sBlueCore4-ROM silicon. The new headset, which quite obviously is designed for hands free calling, is believed to augment voice quality and connection reliability. Addressing a press conference, Razvan Olosu, Vice President, Nokia claimed that the product was designed to represent a ‘culture of mobility’. Lamenting on the competitive market, speakers at the conference said that designers and manufacturers constantly faced the problem of differentiating product offerings in the market. The need of the hour was to achieve a high level of innovation, they said.
