The next event that changed his life took place in1974 when he was in Bulgaria. The very day the bank was closed hence he did not enough money with him and had to keep starving. He slept on the railway platform until 8.30 pm in the night when the Sofia Express arrive the station.
The only passengers in his compartment were a girl and a boy and he began conversation in French with the young girl. Later a police intervened who thought they were criticizing the communist government of Bulgaria.
The girl was spared, however he was dragged along the platform into a small room and held in that bitterly cold room without food or water for over 72 hours. He lost all his hope of ever seeing the outside world again but the door opened and the guard said since he belonged from a friendly country called India he is let off.
That is when he decided to enter into entrepreneurship to create large-scale job as it can be the only mechanism for eradicating poverty in societies.
Today Infosys has created 133,560 employees across the world. It has offices in 33 countries and development centers in India, China, Australia, UK, Canada, Brazil and Japan. And with the foundation laid so strong by Narayana Murthy, the ahead for Infosys seems goo
