Bangalore: MphasiS, an EDS Company and a provider of applications services, remote infrastructure services, BPO and KPO services has announced a program named 'Train the Trainer (TTT)', in partnership with Diversity and Equal Opportunity Centre (DEOC) and Association of People with Disability (APD). The program was inaugurated by Jeya Kumar, CEO, MphasiS, Raghupathy, Department of Training and Employment, Government of Karnataka and Basavaraj, Director, APD. A week long course from 10th to 16th November for 31 selected trainers from Government and Non-Government organizations spread across Karnataka and other parts of India, the project has participation from cities including Agra, Kolhapur, Tirunelvelli, Jaipur, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Hubli. 'Train The Trainer' has been specially evolved to equip NGO trainers with soft skills, where there exists a lacuna. It is the next logical step to 'Project Communicate', a program that was launched to bridge the existing gap in language skills and analytical abilities that people with disabilities face. The pioneering effort has enabled them to compete on equal footing with others, stated a press release. MphasiS will support this initiative not only for Bangalore but also at other centres in Baroda and Indore.
