On the contrary, Modi aims to bring in new startups by promoting the youth through iCreate. The motive behind the project is to groom the budding entrepreneurs and develop the out of the box thinking amongst young innovators. The model is designed in such a way that the mentors at the centre become more like partners of the participants rather than just third party facilitators. The centre also nurtures the projects of the students to set up their companies in Gujarat.

Spark-up Idea Fund

Recently, iCentre launched Spark-up Idea Fund, a contest for the students for profit or non-profit enterprise as well as for the ones looking for capital. The 50 selected projects were given 50, 000 to take the idea to the next level and hence the fund carried an initial corpus of 25 lakhs. And now it is time for us to patiently observe if it is the Modi government or the Chandy government doing the best towards entrepreneurship in the country.
