Mobile Usage shows m-Commerce on the Rise


Out of those who use mobile phone to surf the net, 81 percent used it to connect via Facebook and other social networks, while 71 percent of them were used to get information from search engines. Social networking accounted for about 50 percent of all page views in 2011, according to the infographic. Search engines in comparison were used to look for local information, and 1 in every seven searches made were made via mobile phones. YouTube accounts for 200 million video playbacks on mobile phones that happen every day.
