Memoir Systems raises $5.1 Million

Sunnyvale: Memoir Systems, a startup developing technology for memory performance, has raised $5.1 million in a new round of financing from the Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to a regulatory filing.
The company also raised $750,000 in debt, options, warrants or other securities from a single investor in September.
The company, based in California, was founded by Sundar iyer and Da Chuang in 2009. Earlier, Iyer has founded Los Altos-based network memory company Nemo Systems, which was acquired by Cisco Systems in 2005.
