Mumbai: The Satyam fiasco had led to many speculations including the shift of the clients to the other IT biggies, but only a few clients have ditched the company. "A massive shift of clients from the beleaguered Satyam to other software companies is unlikely," said S Mahalingam, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), TCS.
Earlier it was reported that Infosys and TCS will be the biggest gainers from the fall out of Satyam, but the company maintained that they have not decided if they would accept the clients of Satyam, who have approached it.
Mahalingam also said that there are no plans for the company to acquire the fraudulent software firm. "Controlling cost being the top priority during the downturn, TCS will not consider acquiring Satyam," he said.
