MapmyIndia expands navigable map to 174 cities

Bangalore: MapmyIndia, one of the providers of digital maps in India, is bringing out new addition of detailed maps to its Personal Navigation Device, MapmyIndia Navigator in version 2.0. Digital maps of even small cities will be available with this new addition.
Rakesh Verma, MD, MapmyIndia said "With detailed maps of 174 cities now available on MapmyIndia Navigator 2.0, we are reaching out to the large Indian consumer market that lives beyond the major metros." 
Two hardware models of MapmyIndia Navigator are available - AMAX 06GP5A worth Rs 17,990 and Delphi NAV 200 worth Rs 20,990. The navigation software used by MapmyIndia has been developed by Horizon Navigation.
MapmyIndia Navigator is available in over 500 outlets across India, including General Motors car dealerships, car accessory outlets, consumer electronics retail chains and outlets. The new map data is available for free to existing customers.
