Like it or not, Facebook mandates new profile for all

Bangalore: Facebook had started the beta of the new user profile page last month that saw many users voluntarily making the switch to new design. However as of yesterday, Facebook has mandated the new profile for all users.
The new profile page of Facebook has a restructured interface. It enables easy access to photos, providing more details on the education and work of a person. The users can categorise their friends in separate categories, enlist their several interests among other changes introduced.
However, the mandated new profile hasn't gone down too well with the users. Some reacted in the Facebook blog post showing off their dislike. Tomasina Mc Ginnity said, "Get a dislike button. Not a new profile!", while Bonnie Coomber said, "Don't like it! Bring back the old one!"
