A CEO is often referred to as the captain of the ship (in this case, the company). He is looked upon as the visionary, who is supposed to be an idol for the employees. The status and the power occupied by a CEO, often make him feel on-top-of-the-world, which can wreck havoc for others. Startups should understand that not everything that glitters is gold. A person who is level-headed in what he does as well as what he talks is the one who will go to higher levels. With many companies following the transparent approach, it is upto the people, and in case you are accused with being pompous and blowing your trumpet, you never know when you might fall from the spiraling heights.
