Lenovo unveils Ideapad

Bangalore: Lenovo India, one of the accepted brands for launching best-in class technology products, has unveiled 2 stylish notebooks that are power packed combined with great looks. Lenovo 'IdeaPad Z570' and the 'Lenovo G570' are the innovative tablets which are powered by Intel's second-generation Core i3 processors. Both these Notebooks are enabled with Lenovo's Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7. Talking about the Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 Notebook, this notebook is implemented by the Intel core i3-2310M processor and has the Windows 7 Home basic edition operating system. The memory storage space on the Z570 is up to 640GB of Hard Disk space. Sleek shaped and a metallic look depicted, Lenovo Idea Pad Z570 notebook features NVIDIA with 3GB DDR3 RAM and 1GB graphics memory. This tablet has a lesser weight of up to 2.5 kg for the convenient mobile use. Other specific features include the SRS surround sound for better audio experience, wide screen LED screen with 15.6 inch backlit HD display. The battery capacity of the Z570 extends up to 5 hours in a single charge. This Notebook is integrated with Intel HD graphics 3000 to offer an unparalleled visual experience. Adding to it, this device has an integrated DVD writer, 4x USB 2.0 slot, RJ-45, VGA and microphone, 5 in one memory card reader and a built-in webcam for video chatting. It is an apt device for consumers concerning the gaming and multimedia experience. The price range of the Z570 is 31390. Another elite notebook, Lenovo G570 comes powered by the Intel core i3-2310M processor. It features the 640 GB Hard Drive including the 3GB DDR3 RAM. Apparently, this Notebook is embedded with free DOS loaded which results in the use of free Linux distribution. The specific features of the Lenovo G570 are the multi-touch touch pad with a sleek exterior design and an accutype keyboard enabling in an enhanced computing experience. This notebook is covered in a single piece brush metal interior paneling with smooth top cover. It is supported by HDMI-Out and comes with Lenovo's Veriface face recognition software. Other features of the G570 include the 15.6 inch HD LED screen, 5 in 1 card reader, DVD writer, 4 USB 2.0 ports, MIC, headphone, VGA, 2 MP webcam, 1.5 watt speakers and 6 cell battery. The weight of this tablet is around 2.60 kg and is priced at 29,990. Director of Consumer Business Unit, Lenovo India, Rajesh Thadani said, "Our new notebooks offer superior features such as the Accu type keyboard, Brush finish metallic looks, HD LED Backlit screen, higher-capacity HDD (640 GB capacity) HD to our customers in India. The new Lenovo G470 has a solid, full-metal keyboard, which gives a unique key-touch experience. The screen is 3-D enabled and the 2G Intel core processors deliver greater efficiency and power management. To top it all, it weighs less than just 3 lbs." These products are available in all leading Lenovo retail outlets and multi brand digital lifestyle retail chains like Croma, eZone and others. Lenovo is not the only one with its tablets in the market. Competitors like Acer which has come up with the much-awaited Iconia series tablets that blend the aesthetics of a tablet with the functionalities of a notebook computer. Both the tablets are processed under Google Android Honeycomb 3.0 and Windows 7 operating system. These tablets sport special features like gaming and multimedia facilities and multi touch functionality. The prices of these tablets are between 27,990- 70,000. Another competitor for Lenovo would be the 'Creative', an entertainment electronics leader. They have come up with their Creative ZiiO tablet, which is considered as the world's first apt-X enabled touch screen tablet running on Android 2.2. Two versions of these tablets have been launched. Creative ZiiO 8GB tablets will be available at retail prices of 17,999 (7' tablet) and 21,999 (10' tablet).
