6. Right to constitutional remedies: Every individual in India have the right to knock the doors of Supreme Court or High court in case of the denial of fundamental rights.
7. Right to Information Act,2005: In recent times many Journalists have been killed for speaking up the truth by the underworld or by the rivals. One such case is that of Jyotirmoy Dey , a crime reporter at Mid Day, was shot dead on 11th June 2011 by the underworld. Similarly, Sushil Pathak a journalist at Dainik Bhaskar in Bilaspur was shot dead while returning home. Umesh Rajput of Nai Duniya was also shot dead in the same manner. The underworlds have always threatened the Indian reporters that if they don’t stop publishing news on their crime they will be shot dead.
