Bangalore: JSoft solutions, a provider of software solutions, which was acting as an IT/ITeS arm of JSW Group, a business conglomerate is planning to become a third party service provider, reported Business Standard. Madhukar Rajagopal, CEO, JSoft Solutions said, "We are getting ready to roll out a new business plan. Presently, we are in the process of choosing the springboard that will help us net new clients in the IT space and we hope to kickstart by the end of the year." JSoft Solutions was providing IT solutions to the JSW Group companies that are into steel, energy, cement, aluminum, iron-ore mining and finance. "IT is a critical component in bringing together the group's different companies with regard to economies of scale and providing faster solutions. As several software requirements of the group's companies could not be bought from the market, we came up with the idea of starting our own IT company," Rajagopal added. With an employee base of 190, JSoft has completed 60 projects so far in multiple areas and has also been instrumental in setting up of a non-voice rural BPO at Vijayanagar and apart from that it also introduced a data centre in Bangalore to cater the IT requirements and has popularized video conferencing facilities among the group's companies. Rajagopal told that they had gained enough experience by servicing the group's companies, and now they are thinking of expanding outside the group.
