Jailbroken iDevices can run Flash with Frash
Bangalore: Despite Apple being adamantly against flash on its products, there is a new app coming up to give users full flash experience on jailbroken iDevices. Jailbreaking is a process that allows iPhone and iPod Touch users to run any code on their devices, as opposed to only that code authorized by Apple. A developer that goes by the name @comex has developed a new app, named as 'Frash', to bring in flash on jailbroken iDevices like iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Frash allows the iPad users to run Flash in their Mobile Safari Browsers. Using Frash, which is currently available for developers only, users can play games based on flash and opens flash based websites smoothly. The app is still in its early stages and is not stable enough for release to the public at large. But Comex says that the company plans to make this app available to public in near future. Currently, Frash will run on iPads, but once Comex finds a solution to its performance stability, Frash will be made available on the iPhone4 and iPhone 3GS as well.
