2. Captain America: The First Avenger
Another superhero character from Marvels Comics, Captain America: The First Avenger will also be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is scheduled for release on July 22, 2011 in 3D. The leading character Steve Rogers played by Chris Evans volunteers for a top secret research project after he was deemed unfit for military service. The project turns him into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America who is dedicated to defending America's ideals. The movie is directed by Joe Johnston and is scripted by Christopher Markus Stephen McFeely.
