Jeff Skoll
Jeffery ‘Jeff’ Skoll, an internet entrepreneur who was the first eBay employee and President, founded and finances Participant Media, which is a Los Angeles based media company. Skoll created the company to fund feature films and documentaries that promote social values while still being commercially viable and its first three films were Syriana, Good Night and Good Luck, and North Country along with documentary Murderball.
Skoll holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Univeristy of Toronto and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
