Interlink to automate payroll process with Sage Pocket
Bangalore: Interlink Information Systems, a Delhi based system integration company has successfully deployed Sage Pocket to automate their payroll processes. Sage India, which is providing the software stated that the solution will enable the company to accurately compute salaries. Alok Tandon, Director Interlink Information Systems says, "The implementation of Sage Pocket has greatly simplified and speeded our payroll process especially after the experience we have had with processing payroll on complex excel sheets. For a system integration company like ours, where most of the resources are placed at client site, personal communication relating to payroll processing was a challenge. With Sage Pocket we have been able to streamline our processes thus saving on time and costs." The software will also enable statutory computation of PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee's State Insurance), income tax and maintain record of investments, reimbursements as per CTC (Cost to Company) norms, keep track of employee leave taken and loans availed as well as maintain correspondence with employees in respect of letters, e-mail and pay slips. Thomas Abraham, Managing Director, Sage India said, "Sage is aggressively pursuing the SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) segment with Sage Pocket Payroll. We see the 'Systems Integration' segment adopting this solution rapidly." Sage Pocket will also allow the administration department to generate important documents such as pay slips and pending proofs electronically and mail it to the employees thus cutting down on time and cost both for the company and the employee.
