Integrated data center for Mazagon Dock

New Delhi: Mazagon Dock is building an integrated data center at Mumbai to consolidate the services application and infrastructure.
According to official sources, the data center would provide key functionalities such as central repository of secure servers, data storage, online delivery of services, services portal, intranet portal, disaster recovery, remote management and service integration.
The data center will be built on the fourth floor of Mazdock House Building in MDL premises. The 6000 sq. ft center will be divided into two major work areas: restricted area of 1800 sq. ft and office area of 4200 sq. ft.
Mazagon Dock plans to relocate its existing IT infrastructure in the same building. The entire IT facilities in the integrated data center will be according to the guidelines provided for best data center practices.
With the new data center in place, Mazagon Dock aims to minimize down time and rework for smooth execution.
