Infotech Q4 net rises 334%

HYDERABAD:Infotech Enterprises Ltd has registered significant growth in both turnover and profit for the fiscal 2004-05.
The net profit after tax (PAT) rose to
27.38 crore, up 203.8 percent from
9.01 crore in the previous fiscal.
For the last quarter of the fiscal, the company earned a net profit of
8.92 crore, a massive jump of 334.9 percent from
2.05 crore in the previous corresponding period. As for revenues, the company recorded
65.17 crore (Rs 55.38 crore), a jump of 17.7 percent.
The overall turnover increased by 37.2 percent to reach
257.13 crore compared to
187.47 crore in the previous corresponding year, according to the audited financial results announced today.
The Infotech board, which met here to take on record the financial results, has recommended a dividend of
1.50 per share (15 percent). The diluted EPS for the year stood at
18.53 per share.
Infotech Enterprises Chairman and Managing Director, B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, said a combination of strategic moves helped the company deliver greater value to the global customers and shareholders.
