Infosys Comes Clean Out of Harassment Case
Bangalore: The major Indian IT company, Infosys was for quite some time entangled in a case of harassment filed by one of its American employee, Jack 'Jay' Palmer, Jr. Though, on Monday, 20th August, it came out of it when the US court in Alabama dismissed the charges.
US District Judge Myron H Thompson said in his two-page ruling, “Judgment is entered in favour of defendants Infosys Technologies Limited Incorporated and Infosys Limited and against plaintiff Jack 'Jay' Palmer, Jr, with plaintiff Palmer taking nothing by his complaint. It is further ordered that costs are taxed against plaintiff Palmer, for which execution may issue.”
This decision was made as the court couldn’t find any basis to support any of the charges filed by Palmer. The judge ordered that all other pending motions are "denied as moot" and all pending objections are over ruled as moot, according to the court documents.
