2. Dosa

A favorite in the south of India where it originated, Dosa is a common breakfast dish for most of the people. It is sort of pancake made from rice batter and black lentils. The fast food is not only found in India but is prevalent in Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore as well. One of the best places to get tasty Dosa is Vidyarthi Bhavan at Basavanagudi in Bangalore. Once a mayor of London visited Vidyarthi Bhavan and liked its Dosa so much that he invited them to open a branch in London as well.    

3. Chole Bhature

Chole Bhature is very popular in North Indian states and is a heavy fast food made of spicy chick peas (chole) and fried bread (bhatura).  It is usually had during breakfast or sometimes at lunch as well. Lassi, a yogurt-based drink goes well with chole bhature which is also served with carrot pickle, onions, green chutney and other pickles.  One of the best places to have chole bhature is Sita Ram Diwan Chand at Paharganj in Delhi.
