Kiran Bedi
Kiran Bedi, the retired IPS officer and social activist is the seventh most trusted personality in India as per the Brand Trust Report 2013 survey. Being India’s fist women officer in IPS did earn her wide popularity but she is mostly appreciated for her interest in social cause of the nation. She was the host and judge of the popular TV series ‘Aap Ki Kacheri’ which added to her credibility. She is an active member of ‘India Against Corruption’ movement along with Anna Hazare. In the social spiritual category she ranks second just after Anna.
Dhirubhai Ambani
Dhirubhai Ambani made it on the eighth place on the personality trust list. This is the first time the legendary late industrialist got featured on the list. In the business category he was ranked second after Ratan Tata. He was one of the few selected figures in the Sunday Times list of top 50 businessmen in Asia. He is the founding father of Reliance industries which is now among the top 100 firms in the Fortune 500 list.
