After shoes and smartphones, a startupreneur has innovated to the next level. Harpreet Sareen is the entrepreneur who founded Web@ssist, a website which is dedicated to the differently abled especially the visually impaired. With Web@ssist, the blind can use the web without any hassles. The idea was conceived after Sareen after his dear friend had optic nerve damage in an accident. "It gave me a sense of purpose," said Sareen to TOI.

India’s technology startups have recently geared up to enhance the eco-system. It is a pleasant move by creative entrepreneurs to tap such niche but the very existence of such startups depends totally on investors and various government regulations. It is indeed refreshing to see and understand that the ‘Indian startup eco-system’ doesn’t only consist ecommerce and app startups.
