Indian Startup dreams to Launch World's First Private Moon Mission


The cost of this mission is estimated to be about $20 million and there are some specific parameters that do not allow the participants to seek financial assistance from the government above 10 percent and these men are pooling the required money through crowd funding mechanisms. The team is receiving great support from various organizations including government bodies  through various formal and informal channels that includes the meeting of former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

“Some of them are cynical, most are supportive although not too many would like to be named on public forums, not as yet. We have encouraging response from some Government research organizations and we looking to work with them for infrastructure, expertise and funding support,” said Thakur to firstpost.
