Indian Movies Which Were Caught in Legal Trouble

While promoting the movie in Gujarat, Aamir Khan made some comments against the CM of Gujarat and his handling of Narmada issue. Political parties including BJP and INC took up the matter quite seriously and the Government of Gujarat demanded an apology from Aamir.
But Aamir did not agree to this and said, "I am saying exactly what the Supreme Court has said. I only asked for rehabilitation of poor farmers. I never spoke against the construction of the dam. I will not apologise for my comments on the issue."
There was an unofficial ban on the movie in Gujarat and protests even included burning of posters. As a result, afraid of the outcome, most of the theatres in Gujarat refused to screen the movie, except one. But even in that theatre the screening had to be stopped within a week, since a person entered the theatre bathroom and set himself on fire, protesting against the movie.
The list doesn’t end here; there are many other movies which had to face legal trouble. But, the ones mentioned above gained lot of popularity because of its controversial element and the ‘stars’ involved in them.
