Indian Lawmakers Who Are Infamous As Lawbreakers

Bhonsle Srimant Pratapsingh is the Nationalist Congress Party candidate who won from Satara in Maharashtra. He has 14 pending criminal cases against him. Pratapsingh is charged for murder, kidnapping, criminal intimidation, being member of an unlawful assembly and also charges related to intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace and voluntarily causing hurt. His other charges include mischief, trespass, wrongful restraint, rioting and criminal force among others.

M B Rajesh
M. B. Rajesh is a Lok Sabha MP, elected from Palakkad of Kerala state as a member of Communist Party of India (Marxist). He has 16 pending criminal cases against him and is worth 11 lakh. He has not been convicted as yet in any of the cases. His list of criminal cases includes charges related to attempt to murder, rioting, being member of an unlawful assembly, voluntarily causing grievous hurt to deter public servant from his duty and obstruction in public way or line of navigation, to name some. His other charges include criminal conspiracy among others.

Harish Rawat
Harish Rawat, a politician from Indian National Congress party and a member of the 15th Lok Sabha was previously, a Member of Parliament of India representing Uttarakhand in the Rajya Sabha. He was a Minister of State in the Union Cabinet in the Ministry of Agriculture and Parliamentary Affairs but was given cabinet rank and charge of Water resources in cabinet reshuffle that happened on 28 October 2012. Rawat is the only member of Lok Sabha from Uttarakhand who has a pending criminal case against him.
