Indian Entrepreneurs Show A Never-Say-Die Attitude: Survey

According to Krishna Anand from Mediate Media, official mechanisms did not help him much for his business. But if one wanted to be a successful entrepreneur, nothing would come that easily. It is like a white knuckle ride and one has to have nerves of steel.

He also said that entrepreneurs today generate around half of the nation’s wealth, but get only a tiny fraction of state attention.

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are ‘engines of growth’ which make for up to 95 percent of businesses and 22 percent of India’s Gross Domestic Products (GDP). As Thakur adds, “Entrepreneurial firms will need to remain nimble to navigate choppy waters and succeed. The lack of institutional support means that business owners will continue to increasingly favour flexible working in order to avoid lengthy leases and free up their working capital so they concentrate on growing their business.”

On seeing the relationship between the world and India Thakur also added that globally more than half of the entrepreneurs were using flexible working locations most of the week, as compared to 39 percent of those who did not own their businesses.
