Bibhu Mohapatra is yet another gem of a designer who left the Indian shores and enrolled himself at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Designing fascinated him ever since he was a child and the Indian fabrics and bold colours were his main source of inspiration. He launched his own brand “Bibhu Mohapatra” at the New York Fashion Week in the year 2009. His clothes and designs are available world over in North America, Europe, Russia and the Middle East.

With his designs it didn’t comes as a surprise that he caught the eyes of the International celebrities. He has since designed for celebrities like Salma Hayek, Sienna Miller and Angelina Jolie.

Recently Hollywood Academy Award Winner, Hilary Swank was seen wearing Bibhu Mohapatra design. She wore a silk trench coat when she went for The Late Show with David Letterman in New York.
