Farah Khan never thought she would be a jewellery designer but life at different plans for her. Bored with things she accompanied her friend to a renowned Gemological Institute of America in Santa Monica. She graduated at the top of her class. That is when she realized that her calling was in designing. Since then she has never looked back.

In 2004 she launched her own jewellery brand under the name “Farah Khan”. She has designed for some of the big names in Bollywood. At the 10th IIFA she showcased her designs and she had 10 celebrities wearing her collection at the Green Carpet at the event, something that no one has been able to do till now. She was awarded the best Jewellery Designer Award by the Lions Gold club in January 2010.

Designing for Swarovski was her only international venture. She also made news when Beyonce selected the crown Farah had designed for London's Runway Rocks show in 2008 to wear in her album “4”.
