Hero MotoCorp's Pawan Munjal comes next in the list with earnings of Rs 34.47 crore in 2012. After Munjal joined the organization, the company's net profit raised to 23 per cent i.e., 2, 378.13 crore, which was previously 1, 927.90 crore, according to a report.

In 2010, Hero MotoCorp announced a split with Japan's Honda. It recently said that it will complete dropping the badge of its erstwhile joint venture partner Honda from all its existing products by September 2012, two years ahead of schedule.

Brijmohan Lall Munjal is the chairman of India’s largest two- wheeler company, Hero MotoCorp.

He is ranked under one of the highest paid executives in India. According to the 2012 report, Munjal’s annual salary was 34.44 crore which almost doubled compared to the previous year.
