Jean Yang
Area of Focus: Programming Languages and Computer Security

Jean aims to make the writing of privacy-aware programs easier for programmers by developing a new language, named Jeeves (which she is currently working on). The language will automatically enforce privacy policies, after allowing the programmer to specify the policies at a high level. The language will also “implement core functionality agnostic to the policies, and rely on the system to produce outputs adhering to the policies”. She is a fourth year graduate student at the MIT.
