Fenn developed a partial-vacuum assisted flush, known as "Vacu-flush" which saves more than 50 percent of the water which is used to flush a toilet. ‘The Google science fair, to me, was a blessing in disguise, it would give me the chance to publicise and continue development on my idea which could eventually result in the saving of a lot of resources and benefit a lot of communities, throughout the world’, says Fenn.
