2. Goddesses Worshiped, Brides Killed for Dowry
India, a place where lots of goddesses are worshiped and women are known for their multitasking efficiency as they groom and balance home and professional life. Indian women are proud of her great dignity and her commitment to the institution of marriage and family. On the other hand at least 5000 women are murdered each year because of dowry deaths.
