India based Loopt announces location based application Loopt Qs

Bangalore: Loopt, a location based application service announced at the Where 2.0, conference, a new feature called Loopt Qs. The feature allows users to answer questions and see other user's responses in any physical business location. Loopt Qs enables users to search and visit locations, check-in, and connect with others in a network. It also allows users to create questions. Loopt team will create polls where users can share their answers with Loopt users and with friends on Facebook and Twitter to get more answer to a question and to share a specific answer. By clicking on the Qs button on the Loopt app's homescreen user can see many questions and can contribute answers to them. The Qs are designed to give the user a quick view of information that helps them to save their time. Loopt takes a collection of answers from many users and presents them in a graph. There are other location based social networking sites like Foursquare and Yelp. Foursqure is a location-based social networking website based on software for mobile devices. This service is available to users with GPS enabled mobile devices, such as smartphones. Yelp is a social networking, user review, and local search web site. Yelp provides online local search capabilities for its visitors. Loopt is planning to release the new feature in San Francisco first and then will follow the other cities. The app is currently available on iPhone, iPod Touch and Android.
