iVision sets up India facility

KOLKATA: New York based iVision Inc. has started a facility in India to use the Indian subsidiary for identifying local vendors who can deliver IT services to iVison Inc’s US clients. Romit Dasgupta, iVision Director, the company flows a client centric business model and is focused on offering IT services to small and medium companies in the US. The company also focuses on select verticals like video gaming, BPO, entyerprise resource planning and embedded software. Through our Indian subsidiary, we shall partner with Indian IT companies in the SME segment, which have domain expertise in niche areas. We are also willing to partner with companies that have the capabilities, but no access to clients in the US, he said. ‘iVision is keen to offer its platform as a marketing plank to niche Indian software companies in the SME segment who can therefore showcase their products and services to the prospective clients in the US, Dasgupta said. According to him ‘iVision has tied up with Globesyn Infotech to service customers relation management and legacy system services needs of their clienst in the US. ‘We now have clients whose specific needs are beyond the capabilities of Globesys, hence we are looking for more partners who have domain expertise in niche areas’, he said.
