Bangalore: Hungama Mobile has tied up with mobile games publisher and developer Connect2Media, a tie-up that will help it to aggregate almost 34 titles developed by Connect2Media in the Financial Year 2009-10. Connect2Media games being launched in India include BMW Racing, Crystal Quest, Battle Blocks, Guitar Hero, Samurai Puzzle Battle, Totomi, 4 in a row, Numba, The Witcher, Trickshot Hustler, Pro Bowling 2, GuitarHero3, Beezzz, IcyTower. Hungama will use its distribution network across Internet, mobile and direct to home (DTH) platforms to market the content. The move will allow Hungama greater leverage in the games distribution space, as well as to showcase content beyond just Bollywood games. Distribution of the content should not be a problem for Hungama as it already has a tie-up with BSNL and, according to its website, with Vodafone, Reliance, Idea, Loop and Tata Indicom, which are its other partners for the mobile platform. The games will also be available on DTH via Tata Sky. Hungama also has tie-ups with T-Series, Yash Raj Films, Eros for content, and they release games based on the films that these producers make. Hungama had recently released a game based on the movie Acid Factory and also has rights of the movie Blue.
