Hungama partners with Huuked for better co-file sharing services

Mumbai: Mumbai-based Hungama, a mobile and digital entertainment company, has partnered with Finnish, a Finland-based applications developer Huuked Labs, to bring mobile file-sharing software application for Symbian Series 60 and Java enabled handsets, Huuked, in India.
Hungama is launching an India specific application that integrates the Hungama.com digital store, for all premium entertainment content across various segments. This single application will allow users to download music tracks and videos and also share files with their friends at a very low price. It is accessible on both the PC and Mobile phones.
Originally launched as a brand promotions website in 1999, it is currently headquartered in Mumbai and have over 500 employees in five countries. It is an on-demand Digital Entertainment storefront, serving audio, video and imagery to South Asians across the globe.
Jarkko Utriainen, CEO, Huuked Labs, said that they are excited about the launch of Hungama co-branded Huuked service to the Indian consumers. Huuked is a P2P software for mobile phones that allows users to share pictures, videos and other files of any size. It transfers files from phone to phone in real-time.
