Huawei unveils the latest HSPA+ Slide USB stick
Hanover, Germany: Huawei Technologies, a provider of next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today unveiled its latest HSPA+ slide USB stick, the E182E, at CeBIT in Germany. Leveraging the an advanced HSPA+ technology, the E182E supports a downlink rate of up to 21.6 Mbps and an uplink rate of up to 5.76 Mbps. "The E182E innovation is a testament to our commitment to investing in mobile broadband innovations that can meet the increasing demands for faster mobile Internet speeds. By boosting network efficiency, the slide USB stick E182E will significantly improve 3G services." said Mr. James Chen, Director of Huawei Terminal Marketing Department. The E182E, which will be available in Europe this April, has an enhanced design to improve ease of portability and usability. The cap-free device features a retractable USB connector and a peak storage capacity of 32GB. The E182E follows the success of company's flagship mobile broadband devices like the E220 and E180. In the area of mobile communications, Huawei has also introduced a variety of mobile broadband devices with wide range of technologies, including UMTS, HSPA and HSPA+, and will launch its LTE (long-term evolution) product in the last quarter of 2009.
