How technology ignited the London riots?

Bangalore: As the rioting spreads across the streets of London, mobile technology and social networks are blamed for organizing and coordinating it. The rioting is fueled by social networks and messengers like twitter and black berry. The twitter and BlackBerry users were having fun beside by tweeting and discussing unnecessary things. It's reported that at times people took advantage of these tech innovations for falsely arranging and coordinating the riot, which was mostly orchestrated by a gang of teenagers. The politicians, media and commentators now blame these technologies as they were the main reason behind elucidating the riot. The mobile phones were used by people to click pictures of themselves with their looted haul and posting them on social networking sites which instigated more violence. There were suggestions given for good places to attack next, asking questions who want to join the riot gang and encouraging violence. It's the youngsters who were more influenced and made it a trend that hampered the whole situation at London. They were scandalous incidents happening due to blackberry messenger and twitter feeds. The Smartphones played a very negative role by being a recruitment tool for the riot. The social networking sites were used for public protest, especially the blackberry messenger which is a networking community that is free to use and people can open it using a unique ID given to them. There were serious group chats taking place in the BBM community which took the crisis to a higher level. Police and media have been no way benefited by these technology when the riot occurred. Social networking sites have been of great help many times but in this case, it has damaged and made people realize it can even lead to the death of people by encouraging aggression.
