Chennai based Mobiwhiz was founded in 2010 by Barani Kumar S to push technology innovations in order to provide a one-stop solution to the customers. They feel that mobile application learning has become a part of mainstream education and they strive to make the students not just technically skilled but also improve their soft skills and behavioral skills, and creating wizards in the mobile application development and testing. “We are into mobile training and were looking at different terms to name our company. We initially came up with the names to connote the level of brilliance the students will reach. We came across the name ‘Whizkids’ which served as a reference and my colleague suggested the name ‘Mobiwhiz’ to relate the mobile and the geniuses. When we checked, the name was available and ‘Mobiwhiz’ was born," says Baranikumar, Founder & CEO, Mobiwhiz Technologies.
