Intezar Abdi In June earlier this year, Interzar Abdi, former chairman of UP Sugar Corporation was arrested for attacking the residence of state Congress Chief Rita Bahugana Joshi. Abdi, who is a state minister in Mayavati Government, was instead sent to Lucknow's Balrampur Hospital as he complained of chest pain. It was then reported that Abidi then held durbar from hospital, showing utter disregard for law.
