Tata Motors is a leader in commercial vehicles in each segment and it is among the top three in passenger vehicles. The company is the first in the world to build the highly anticipated Tata Nano- the People’s Car at 1 Lakh apart from other award winning midsize cars and utility vehicles. It is also the world’s fourth largest truck and bus manufacturer and has tied up with other big manufacturers such as Marcopolo.

Best OEM - SUV/Passenger Vehicles : Mahindra and Mahindra

Founded in the year 1945, Mahindra & Mahindra entered the automobile industry by bringing in the Willys Jeep to India. Mahindra & Mahindra strictly follow three tenets i.e. accepting no limits, alternative thinking and driving positive change. At present the company stands third in the Indian passenger vehicle market, riding on higher demand for its vehicles, including the newly launched XUV500 SUV. Selling 61,504 units during April-June 2012 alone.
