CHENNAI: Helios & Matheson Information Technology Ltd, a services company, has posted a profit after tax of
59.8 million on an income of
36.2 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2005, against a net profit of
8.6 million on
23.3 million for the same period last year.
For the year ended March 31, 2005, the company's net profit was
18.5 million on an income of
122.1 million, against a net profit of
79.6 million on income of Rs 75.5 million for the previous year.
The firms income for the quarter ending June 30, 2005 was expected to be in the range of
38.2 million to
38.4 million and the net profit in the range of
63.8 million crore to
64.2 million, a company release said.
The release quoted G. K. Muralikrishna, Managing Director, as saying that the company's revenue was expected to cross
2 billion in fiscal 2006.
