San Francisco: Greystripe, a San Francisco-based ad-supported mobile game distribution platform has raised $5.5 million from Incubic Venture Capital, Steamboat Ventures and Monitor Ventures in the third round of funding. In total, the company has raised $15.6 million. The new funding is intended to integrate its mobile inventory directly into industry accepted online media-buying software like Microsoft's Atlas. Ad agencies are expected to be able to easily add mobile to their online campaign and measurement results. "For too long the mobile advertising world has built a silo approach to their business. Those days are over. It's time to join the online advertising world and bring new value in terms of reach, targeting and interactivity," said Michael Chang, co-Founder and CEO, Greystripe.
