Google To Announce Next Nexus 7 Tomorrow


Bangalore: Google's annual developer conference, Google I/O is set to begin in a few. And as per rumors, the company will announce a tablet refresh in the session.

Earlier Google had launched its first tablet in the Nexus series - Nexus 7, partnering electronics giant, Asus. At the last year's I/O conference, Google set the tone for the next years launch. However, instead of expecting a new hardware launch, we may see a refresh on Nexus 7, with the latest Android version and updated components.

According to Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst, Google and Asus will partner and will announce the latest version, and I/O will be the venue for the unveiling of the next Nexus 7, which is set to be released in June or July for $199.  Kuo has also provided the specs for Nexus 7, as per the review, the tab will sport a 7-inch LTPS 1920 x 1200 display, powered by 7-inch LTPS 1920 x 1200 display processor with multiple storage options. It will host a 5-MP rear camera and a HD front-facing camera. Packed with 4,000mAh battery, the tab would run on Android 4.3.

However, if the reports are claimed to be true, we may expect how Nexus 7 refresh will appear beforehand.
