Bangalore: The search engine giant Google unveiled Google Magnifier, a music blog for users of Google Music Beta. Google Magnifier helps users of its online music-storage service discover and obtain new music. This is an attempt by the search engine giant to differentiate its Music Beta service from its rivals like Amazon's Cloud Music and Apple's forthcoming iCloud service which is anticipated to get released in fall. Google offers the service by rendering two tracks by Grammy-nominated indie rock band's album 'My Morning Jacket' to Music Beta users. In addition to free music tracks, the site features videos of live performances, artist interviews, and a chance to explore music genres. The music-storage service by Google, allows the users to upload their music libraries and replay them on PCs and mobile handsets.
