Google brings Chrome 5 for Linux, Mac, and Windows

Bangalore: The latest version of Google chrome 5.0.375.55. has been posted on the Stable channel for Mac, Linux and Windows users. The latest version 5 brings new features included syncing of browser preferences, a welcome HTML5-based freshening of the bookmarks manager, an extensions manager, and some HTML5 features like Geolocation APIs and file drag and drop, reports Bradford Schmidt from Technoratti.
There are also security and stability updates included in the current version and one can also use drag and drop at Gmail and play with the geolocation functionality in Google Maps. Adobe Flash Player is however not yet integrated in this build. Google Chrome 5.0.375.55 delivers a wide range of fixes, most of which concern the security side of the browser.
